Using the microfiber coating applicator
Why a coating sponge with an internal film makes coverage more even, and how to use and keep it.

- Amount
- A small amount of product per section
You’ll need
- Microfiber coating applicator
- Your coating (The Last Coat 2.0 or Deep ICE)
Prep
- Start with a clean, debris-free surface.
Steps
- Put a small amount of product on the applicator — the plastic film inside keeps it on the microfiber surface.
- Spread evenly, one manageable section at a time.
- Buff with the clean side or a microfiber towel for a smooth finish.
- Repeat on the next section.
Common mistakes
- Overloading the sponge.
- Working too large an area at once.
Safety & care
- Rinse after use and store clean and dry, away from contaminants.
